At 'Our Holiday Club' we aim to guarantee that standards of ensuring a safe, secure and happy environment for children to play are met.Our aim is to offer a happy, friendly and safe environment for your children to develop. We are a small friendly club catering for up to 50 children. We are a popular holiday club with many children and parents. With policies, procedures and safety rules always in place, we like to give and encourage the children to help organise their chosen activities, so that they can get the most out of their holiday time and the club.Children will have a chance to enjoy all the activities we have to offer with choice. As we are a small club, to avoid disappointment, we recommend to send your applications in as soon as possible, as spaces are limited.
The activities offered aim to help and encourage the children to establish language, physical, emotional and social skills through play.Importantly we aim to offer an environment so that children feel they can be open to trust their carers and peers, as well as yourselves, the parents, trusting Our Holiday Club.Activities consist of swimming with qualified instructors including a fun session, aqua aerobics and water polo.As well as outdoor and indoor activities such as football, rounders, basketball and tennis, hot/cold cookery and arts and crafts plus many more.
All our staff at 'Our Holiday Club' have child care experience, in addition we have training, first aid at work, life saving and attend relevant courses/conferences in childcare.Furthermore ALL staff are police checked by the Criminal Records Bureau (CRB checked).
The ratio will be 1 member of staff to every 8 children, falling to 1-6 when we are at full capacity of fifty children. This ratio is higher than the OFSTED requirement.
